Why are the prayer times slightly different from my local mosque?
Prayer times are calculated using astronomical data for the Vancouver area. Individual mosques may use a slightly different calculation method, so times can vary by a few minutes. Always follow your local mosque for congregational prayers.
The Qibla compass isn't pointing correctly. What can I do?
The compass relies on your device's magnetometer. Make sure location and motion permissions are enabled, move away from metal objects or electronics, and calibrate your device by moving it in a figure-8 motion.
Why do I need to allow location access?
Location is used only to determine accurate prayer times and the correct Qibla direction for your position. Your location is never stored or shared.
Why can't the app load prayer times or event dates?
The app needs an internet connection to fetch the latest prayer times and Ramadan/Eid dates. Please check your connection and try again.
Are the Ramadan and Eid dates final?
Islamic event dates are astronomical estimates and may differ by ±1 day based on official moon sighting announcements.
